A blanket made specifically for dogs, from the same materials and with the same care as the Sofia Toscano blankets for the house. It is not a generic pet shop accessory: it is a real textile, in recycled wool from the Prato district, with a weight and a resistance suited to an animal.

Why wool for a dog

Dogs need a fixed point, a place they recognise as theirs, that smells of them and settles them. The Zampa is meant to be that place. Recycled wool regulates temperature naturally: warm in winter without overheating in summer. It also resists odours better than a synthetic, which matters with an animal in the house.

At 100 by 70 cm it is sized for small and medium dogs, large enough to lie on, compact enough to fold into a bag or a car.

At home, in the car, away

At home it becomes the soft corner of the sofa or the dog's own place in any room. In the car it protects the seats and gives the dog something familiar. Away, in a hotel or a holiday house or at a friend's, unrolling it recreates their space anywhere.

Recycled wool holds up: to daily use, to claws, to being walked over. And when it needs it, it goes in the machine on a delicate cycle.

The paw print

The Grey Pattern with its paw prints is playful on a grey ground, discreet enough not to fight the furniture, recognisable enough to mark the blanket as theirs. The greys sit easily with sofas and interiors of any style.
