The tartan

A tartan works in any kind of room, from country to contemporary, because its geometry is ordered without being rigid. Here it is read in a soft pastel palette, away from the saturated Scottish classics. The result adds character without imposing.

The materials

The same composition as the rest of the Fara line: 70% recycled wool for warmth and softness, 25% polyamide for resistance and shape. The wool comes from mill offcuts sorted by colour, a process that draws less water and fewer raw materials than virgin wool. One practical detail: unlike other wool throws, this one can be hand washed in cold water rather than dry cleaned every time.

Where and how to use it

Over the arm of a sofa, folded at the foot of a bed, laid on a chair. The tartan also makes it a safe gift: it is a recognisable pattern that people like across tastes.
