The drawing

The floral is woven in jacquard rather than printed: the flowers rise out of the weave like a textile relief. Run a hand across the surface and you feel the shift between ground and pattern. The reverse shows the same drawing in negative, and can be used as a second look.

Where and how to use it

Draped over the arm of a sofa, spread as a spring cover on a single bed, or folded into a bag for a picnic. The modest weight makes it easy to carry, and the fringes add a handmade detail that sets it apart from a plain length of cloth.

Pairing it

A discreet floral sits well against plain cloth. Grey and Beige suit Nordic or spare rooms; Green and Pink add a gentle accent to a cool one. Blue is the most decisive, and works as a contrast on a pale sofa.
